My journey to this work began long before I ever stepped into a coaching room. For years, I was a healthcare entrepreneur founding and scaling a nurse staffing and home healthcare business across New York and New Jersey to over $30 million in annual revenue. We employed thousands of nurses and aides, collaborating daily with hospitals, patients, and families.
Stress and anxiety were constant companions. With lives on the line and decisions needing to be made around the clock, the pressure was immense. The healthcare world is unpredictable, conditions shift, needs evolve, and the demands never stop. I witnessed firsthand how chronic stress impacted not just performance, but health, relationships, and quality of life across every level of the organization.
What I realized over time was this: we cannot control the chaos around us, but we can learn to master our inner state … our responses … our nervous system … our capacity to remain anchored when everything around us is shifting.
That curiosity changed the direction of my life. After selling my business and relocating to South Florida, I pursued rigorous clinical training across five evidence-based modalities, not to add credentials to a wall, but because I needed to understand, at the deepest level, how human transformation works.
That training led me to Clinical Hypnotherapy, NLP, Timeline Therapy®, Positive Psychology, Neuro-Somatic Dynamics™, and HeartMath® Coherence Training. Along the way, I also wrote two books, Dream a Better Dream’ and ‘Your GPS to Happiness’, and developed the ‘Your GPS to Success’ course.
I will also be honest about something else. I wasn't only studying stress from the outside. I had lived with it myself. Like so many high achievers, I battled high-functioning anxiety. I was composed on the outside and wrestling with self-doubt and perfectionism within. Learning to calm my own nervous system and discovering that regulation was a skill that could be trained, was as personally transformative as it was professionally clarifying.
Today, I understand stress and burnout from three distinct vantage points: as a healthcare operator who watched it erode organisations from the inside; as a clinician trained in the neuroscience and somatic tools that address it at its root; and as a human being who has done the inner work herself.

When I look back at the nurses who left our agency or hospital facilities, the ones who were exceptional, committed, and genuinely called to this work, I now understand what was happening to them biologically that none of us had the language for at the time.
They weren't burning out because they were weak. They were burning out because the nervous system cost of clinical work had never been addressed at the level where it lives. No one had given them the tools to regulate what the work was doing to their bodies, shift after shift, year after year.
The ANCHOR program is what I would have brought into every hospital I partnered with, if it had existed then. It is built on the same operational understanding of what healthcare organizations face namely budget pressures, scheduling realities, the cultural resistance to anything that looks like "another wellness program", and the clinical precision to address burnout where it genuinely originates.

Stress and anxiety must be met at the biological level first. Neither willpower, positive thinking, nor determination can override a nervous system stuck in survival mode. Regulation comes first. Everything else follows.
Whether I am working with a hospital unit or an individual high achiever, the sequence is always the same.
We begin by establishing safety by creating the physiological conditions in which the nervous system can begin to release its grip on survival mode. This is not a metaphor. It is a measurable biological shift, achievable in minutes with the right tools.
From safety, we move toward coherence, the state in which the heart, mind, and emotions work in harmony rather than opposition. HeartMath® research shows this state is directly trainable and directly measurable through HRV.
